The Wizards switched to red, white and blue this season, but Wall has long stated that one of his goals is wearing those colors while representing the United States in international competition. Being a part of the select team is an important step in being part of the U.S. men’s national team pool, since many have already used it as a springboard.

Leaving Washington in a three-team deal that put Nene in a Wizards uniform meant that they are now playing with a purpose. It also gave them the chance to make cameo appearances on South Park (Yes, after providing several moments of comic relief with the Wizards, the duo was immortalized last week on the Comedy Central cartoon).
