I’ve been away for a few days so here are some things that happened involving Fairfax County education recently.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;First, there was a community meeting last week organized by parents who wanted to express disapproval about plans to renovate Haycock Elementary in Falls Church. About 200 people showed up to the meeting held on Oct. 23 to talk about the upcoming renovation, scheduled to begin in 2015. The parents contend that the renovation will not add enough space to sufficiently address the school’s crowding problems.
