The memorial service taking place on May 31 to honor the ‘Godfather of go-go’ gives many people from all walks of life a chance to reminisce and wax poetic about what Chuck’s life and legacy means to D.C. and the world of music. The problem is many folks have done little to honor the legacy of his musical invention, and in some cases have done things that have hampered its growth and development.

Coal ash is the waste leftover after thousands of tons of coal are burned at coal-fired power plants. It is laden with mercury, arsenic, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and lead, which are pollutants that cause cancer, organ disease, breathing problems, neurological damage, developmental problems and even death. A majority of coal ash is disposed in grossly inadequate dumpsites.

The Post's Jonathan O'Connell offers up an incredibly insightful analysis of how the city became a mecca for one-person households, of which it has the highest percentage in the country, including Manhattan. O'Connell explains that "the District has evolved into a juggernaut at attracting the sort of person I was before I had children."

Kesha has flown home, but the women are still leaving their beastly mark all over Tahiti. Evelyn, Shaunie and Tami take a sunset cruise. Tami, the Incredible Hobo Hulk, appears to have calmed down and sobered up a bit since her fight with Kesha. “We should be able to have an adult conversation,” Tami says. Apparently, Tami suffers from short-term memory. There are no conversations with this woman, only bullying and violence on her part. The women relax and take in the scenery.
