Richard Earl Teller, 28, of Haymarket, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old female student at Brentsville High School, where Teller was also a basketball coach.

D.C. fire boats were called to an area near Hains Point and the 14th Street bridge where they found the body just before 5 p.m., said Battalion Fire Chief Brian Lee, a fire department spokesman.

The man they are looking for is walking on a sidewalk in this video.

He is wanted in connection with the homicide of Dwayne Edward Brisbon, 33, of Upper Marlboro.

A former client of Clemens’s strength coach told jurors in the baseball legend’s perjury trial that Brian McNamee also kept syringes from injections he allegedly gave professional ballplayers to protect himself from possible prosecution.

The incident occurred just before 11 p.m., authorities said. The man, who police identified as Jason Antwan Patten, of Clinton, was merging onto southbound Route 5 from Woodyard Road when he lost control of his Chevrolet Monte Carlo, authorities said. The car veered back and forth across the southbound lanes of traffic, ran into a 2008 Toyota Corolla, then overturned and crashed into several trees, authorities said.

Sgt. Tracy Stone, a spokesman for the Bladensburg Police Department, tells WUSA-TV that a man’s body was discovered in the 5600 block of Annapolis Road about 11 p.m. Monday. Stone says the man suffered some sort of trauma. His body will be taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

The victim was Noel Walter, 74, who lives along the creek and was less than 100 yards from his dock when the incident occurred, said John M.R. Bull, spokesman for the Virginia Marine Police.

The incident occurred just before noon at an apartment or condominium in the 5700 block of Olde Mill Court in Mount Vernon, said Fairfax County police spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell. She said that officers had gone there to serve a warrant for destruction of property and that after a brief discussion, the man “confronted officers with a knife.” She said he was shot by police after he continued to be “non-compliant” with officers’ orders.

The incident occurred at about 6:15 a.m. in the 4000 block of Maguire Place, according to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal. Authorities said the man was igniting the converted barrel when there was a sudden flash of flame.

The crash -- the second in which a pedestrian was critically injured in Prince George’s over the weekend -- occurred about 9:56 p.m., said Cpl. Rodney Gause, a Prince George’s County Police spokesman. He said the man, who lived in Capitol Heights, left the Metro station and had reached the median strip on Central Avenue when he turned back. A 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor, which had initially slowed down for the man, collided with him in the eastbound lanes, Gause said. The man was critically injured but alive early on Monday, Gause said.

The stabbing occurred about 11:15 p.m. near 7th and M Streets NW, which is near the center and the Mount Vernon Square Metro station..

Chamblin, 49, who had been living in South Florida, faces up to three life sentences for each of the three first-degree rape convictions, according to prosecutors. The crimes stretched over several years, when he was between 14 and 16 years old, and when his two victims, who are sisters, were between 5 and 9 years old, said John Maloney, a Montgomery County Deputy State’s Attorney.

Carroll Adams, who lived alone, succumbed early Friday morning after he suffered burns over 40 percent of his body, said Dan Schmidt, a spokesman for the fire department.

His death remains under investigation, said Col. Sean D. Gibson.
