Like the song says, it’s time to move.

After 27 months of non-stop pop music bloggery, we’re moving our music coverage from Click Track to The Style Blog where we’ll be talking about pop music alongside the keystrokes of other arts critics from the Washington Post Style section.

And in case you missed it in Sunday’s Washington Post Magazine, the cover story about the making of a documentary on legendary rock drummer Ginger Baker is well worth your time.

Arcade Fire: “Abraham’s Daughter”

On the leadoff song from “The Hunger Games” soundtrack, AF’s typically rococo indie rock is set to a spare, almost martial beat.

- Bruce Springsteen’s new album “Wrecking Ball” takes aim at the the “robber barons” of Wall Street, but feels dutiful, according to a review from Chris Richards: “Springsteen doesn’t sound angry. He sounds angry on our behalf.”

Guns N’ Roses stepped onto the Fillmore Silver Spring stage a few ticks after midnight on Friday morning and didn’t pack it up until 3:04 a.m.

It wasn’t a rock concert. It was a hostage situation.

Where did these guys even find the gall to call themselves Guns N’ Roses? Led by the band’s only original member, frontman Axl Rose, this unfocused eight-man crew pranced and preened with the enthusiasm and talent of a tribute band. For three torturous hours, the guys sucked the life force from some of the most anthemic rock songs ever written — “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Paradise City” and “November Rain” among them.

Prepare to freak out: This new ballad, performed by Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon at a British benefit show over the weekend, might offer a hint of what Blur’s long-promised, as-yet-unrecorded new disc will sound like.

In the ’90s, Washington’s champions of “Gospel Yeh-Yeh” were one of the city’s — the country’s, the world’s — most exciting live bands. Their concerts were frenetic soul-punk revues, with irrepressible frontman Ian Svenonius leading the audience through call-and-response shouts (“Let me hear you say yeah!” was a common refrain), as he spasmed, squealed, shrieked and occasionally walked on the outstretched hands of the audience. (I saw this happen at least once.)
