Lafley, is back in.

If there are rock stars in corporate America, Lafley is one of the biggest. He was to the 2000s what Jack Welch was to the 1990s, the CEO who most embodied the business zeitgeist of the decade (at least until the financial crisis came along). At a time when innovation and design-driven product growth were the mantra of executives everywhere, Lafley's "the consumer is boss" motto made him the poster boy of the era, heralded on magazine covers and showered with awards. The hero worship wasn't undeserved: During his tenure, he transformed the company, more than doubling sales and the size of P&G's brand portfolio.

Lillian Cunningham: A lesson from Cameroon in letting go of fear

For this installment of our "Micro Management Stories" video series, we interviewed Kah Walla about leadership. Yes, the "king of forwards" sent a picture of his half-naked girlfriend to an entire company department. Yes, over the course of his seven seasons with the show, he managed to insult every race, creed, gender and sexual preference in existence. Mo Udall on meetings and from Rumsfeld himself on lessons from his own career.

Elizabeth Dunn: When paying more stops paying off

Everyone likes money. Ask people who say they don't care about money if they've ever turned down a raise. Wait for the awkward pause.

But money is funny, too.
